Ironman in Italy

Huge congratulations to everyone from Triathlon Inverness who took on the challenge of competing in the full IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 in Emilia-Romagna, Italy

From the swim, through the miles on the bike, to the final run — what an amazing test of endurance, determination and commitment… and, quite possibly, a few questionable life choices along the way!

Full IRONMAN: 3.8 km swim • 180 km bike • 42.2 km run 

IRONMAN 70.3: 1.9 km swim • 90 km bike • 21.1 km run

A massive well done to every athlete, supporter, coach and family member who helped make this experience possible. Your dedication and team spirit were incredible — and the amazing support definitely helped get everyone over that finish line!

There were tired legs, big smiles, probably a few moments of “why on earth did I sign up for this?”  — but ultimately, one very big achievement to celebrate!

Emilia-Romagna 2026 — memories made for a lifetime… and legs that may need a little longer to recover!
